Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War (THQ Humble Bundle top tip)
Alright so to everyone that took part in today's shenanigans in DoW skirms, I found something out.
If you got the humble bundle, you DO have the Winter Assault expansion.
No, it won't run from steam straight away, so here's what you need to do.
Click "My Computer" and head to (your steam directory, usually C:\program files\steam or D:\steam) > steamapps > common > Dawn of War Gold
Notice how it's called "Gold" in the directory but called the GOTY edition in the humble bundle? Weird right?
Well, thankfully this is a good thing.
YEAAH BABY YEAAAH.
Now just click in there and find a file called W40KWA.exe, that's the one you'll be adding to steam as a non-steam game. Copy the directory, open up steam, plop into your library and click "add a game > add a non steam game". Hit browse, paste the directory, click on W40KWA.exe and HEY PRESTO! YOU NOW HAVE WINTER ASSAULT INSTALLED!
Pretty sure everyone that didn't get it through steam said they have the expansions, which means we can all play WA aswell now too
Legion, out. o7

Kreian probably sucks at WH:40k
Probably plays Imperial Guard or someshit.
Or ''Cliché Marines''
Tzeentch ain't got no time for 'dat.
Also, don't tell me that you actually sat down with the boys and played Warhammer 40k without Kaiser and me...
Or I shall let loose the power of Alex Jones, don't temp me.

Dawn Of War 2 isn't as good, but I have every single Dawn Of War laying some where around my house its a matter of getting the CD codes.

As a devoted Imperial Guard player I can tell you that the new codex actually lets us take down Chaos Space marines.
Also Tzeentch will have time for that when my main man Creed deep-strikes a Baneblade up his arse

I don't have dawn of war 2 haha, but most of us have DoW
Re: Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War (THQ Humble Bundle top tip)
Ahhh yes, ''Baneblades''
Luckly, on the PC version of Warhammer 40k you have a factor that isn't present on table-top: AI pathfinding.

I don't PC anything.
I have the disposable wealth for the actual army.
Seriously the new codex makes tanks and flyers OP (which is sorta IGs thing yo)

I'm going to be a dick (what a surprise!) and interpret that as ''I'm a console fanboy, fuck PC!''
Assumptions are fun
